12.45pm-1.00pm: Kate Nicholls, chief executive of the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers, provides an update on political and regulatory developments.
1.00pm-1.30pm: Phil Tate, chief executive of CGA Strategy, which has retailer specialist CGA Peach as a division, reveals details of new research on usage, areas of growth, food and drink trends and evolution within the UK bar and nightclub market.
1.30pm-2.00pm: The bar and nightclub property market: Fleet Street Communications managing director Mark Stretton talks to Simon Chaplin, director and head of leisure and development at Christie + Co, Trevor Watson, executive director of Davis Coffer Lyons, Graeme Bunn, director of Fleurets and Glendola Leisure managing director Alex Salussolia about current trends and issues in the property market.
2.00pm-2.30pm: Riz Shaikh, co-founder of the Columbo Group, winner of this year Publican’s award for best late night operator, talks about the award-winning company’s approach to food, drink and entertainment in the late night sector.
2.30pm-3.00pm: David Henkes, vice-president of Technomic, looks at the key trends in the US bar and nightclub market, with a focus of food and beverage growth areas.

3.15pm-3.45pm: Peter Marks, chief executive of Deltic Group, sets out the key steps in building a sustainable nightclub and bar business.
3.45pm-4.10pm: Industry veteran Stephen Thomas outlines his views on the future for UK bars and nightclubs in the digital age.
4.10pm-4.35pm: Aaron Mellor, founder and chief executive of the UK’s third largest nightclub company, Tokyo Industries, talks about trading in the regions, broadening his offer, expansion plans, launching his own festival and the regulatory challenges in the late-night sector.
4.35pm-5.05pm: State of the Sector: Fleet Street Communications managing director Mark Stretton talks to Reuben Harley, chief executive of Eclectic, Alex Hazzard, co-founder of the Burning Night Group, Philip Kolvin QC, leading licensing barrister, Luke Johnson, founder of Risk Capital Partners, Adam Marshall, founder of Grand Union Group about the prospects for the bar and nightclub sector, the regions, digital marketing and changing patterns of bar and nightclub usage.
